Learn how to make Bourbon biscuits at Home with our chef Bhumika Bhurani.<br /><br />Ingredients for Cookies:<br />- 1/2 cup Butter(unsalted)<br />- 3/4 cup Caster Sugar<br />- 1 1/2 cup All-Purpose flour<br />- 4 tbsp Cocoa Powder(unsweetened)<br />- 1 1/4 tsp Baking Powder<br />- Salt<br />- 3 tbsp Milk<br />- Sugar Crystals<br /><br />Ingredients for Icing:<br />- 3 tbsp butter(unsalted)<br />- 2 tsp Cocoa Powder<br />- 6 tbsp Icing Sugar<br /><br />Method:<br />1. Take unsalted butter in a large bowl <br />along with caster sugar<br />2. Using an electrical whisker, whisk it properly<br />3. After this, add all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt and mix it all together<br />4. Once the mixture turns sandy, add milk <br />5. Mix it with your hands and form a dough <br />6. Flour the dough with cocoa powder and roll out the dough <br />7. After rolling, freeze it into a freezer for about 10 minutes<br />8. Now, in a new bowl take unsalted butter, cocoa powder, icing sugar and mix it together<br />9. Take out the dough from the freezer and cut it into rectangles<br />10. Add Sugar crystals on top of the dough and press it gently <br />11. Using a toothpick, make holes on the cookies and freeze it for 5 more minutes<br />12. Now, bake the cookies at 180-degree Celcius, for around 12-15 minutes<br />13. Once baked, let it cool down completely <br />14. Flip over some of the cookies and using a piping bag, add icing over it, and close it using other cookies <br />
